I got quoted $650 for Line-x premium with UV protection, $550 for regular Line-x, and $575 for Rhino — I’m in SoCal, trying to decide which SIBL, would love to hear suggestions. Also maybe the bedrug $~475? Seems kinda nice too but not sure how well that would work over time in the sun and the in the heat vs SIBL

Over the years I've had rhino factory and drop ins. For my Tremor I went with the Line-x and am impressed with the application the appearance and the protection. If you can get the Line-x near the same price point as rhino its a much better deal with a better liner. The rhino application is more of a "spray everything" whereas the Line-x application removed everything did the application and replaced everything. Much more detailed and way better end result. Stay the hell away from drop ins unless your truck is garaged and out of the weather if you plan on keeping the truck for any length of time-otherwise when you remove it you will end up with a rust bucket.
Ok, so is the extra $125 clear coating extra UV protection really worth it?

I've had all three and agree with most of the comments here on durability. I have seen rust under a drop in Ranger and on this Maverick ordered it with the factory sprayed in so that if there is an issue all points to Ford. However, to counter any scuffing concerns I intend to get a drop in mat to lay on top of the sprayed in liner.

I have always had drop in liners in my previous trucks and believe it or not I prefer how they are slick/slippery. I find loading stuff much easier. After doing a bit of research, it sounds like I risk rusting out my bed so I think I am going to get either a rhino or Line-X spray in bedliner. I was hoping to get some input from you guys on which you prefer and maybe some advantages/disadvantages to them and which one is less "grippy" and more like a drop in. Thanks guys as always this forum is awesome
Line X is harder and Rhino more grippy. Costs are almost the same in Denver. I paid $600 for Line X. So it all depends if you want, a tougher lining easier to get big things in and out (get Line-X) or more rubbery to hold small things from slipping around (get Rhino.) my experience is Line X wears like iron. Spray it down 5 years later and it still looks pretty new.

I had the front of my older (2002) motorhome done with line-X. I had seen a few rigs with that at several RV parks over the years and the front of my RV was dinged from rock chips and the paint was getting beat up and old. There are several textures to line-X and I got the one that is very smooth and sort of an orange peel look to it. Nice thing is it is now damn near bullet proof after having it sprayed about 7 years back. Not a single scratch or dent and I have had a few things come at it hard at highway speed. Much better and cheaper than one of those bra's. You can simply wipe the bugs off with a damp cloth in a couple minutes! I had my Mav lin-X'd also, only a more sandpaper type of grip to it. You can get different colors also.
