I picked up my Maverick from my dealer and within 2 hours was backed into by a tractor trailer. Damage was to the hood, grill, plastic piece between the grill and the bumper. The truckers insurance recommended a body shop in Titusville Fl. The manager says the Maverick isn't in the parts data base for estimating repair costs yet.. He referred me to the dealer I purchased the truck at. The manager there says he will have to look the parts up manually since he uses the same database. No one is sure of the availability of the parts anyhow. Does anyone have any information on the availability of body parts?

There is a guy whose cousin took his Maverick for a joy ride and caused $6000 woth of damage. You might be able to contact him via the forum. He had substantial damage and it was able to be repaired. I would have Ford fix yours though. Really sux when stuff like happens.

At least it's driveable. Gotta be annoying though - that truck driver just knocked a few thousand off your resale value and insurance sure doesn't reimburse for that.

Hood part # NZ6Z16612A shows 44 pieces in transit to packager but currently D99(really bad backorder)
Front bumper cover part # NZ6Z17757SAPTM should be 7-10 days away, currently available.

I'm not sure which grille pieces are correct for your Maverick but it looks like the bumper cover is going to hold up the job for now from what I see.

You can file for loss of value. Pretty easy process, Your insurance will re-coup from the trucking company’s insurance. Doubt they will even blink. I have done it.

I like the truck a lot and I'm 70 years old so its not going to mean that much to me. I'll keep it till the wheels fall off

The damage happened NOV 2 , so it might take a while. You can view the post under My cousin took my Lariat for a joy ride. Has pics too. Far worse damage than yours so i would be optomistic on parts availability.
Thanks for the information

Thanks for the information. Sounds promising except for the bumper cover

I just got my VIN a few weeks ago and put in my estimating software at my body shop to poke around and see part prices and it showed up in our database. We use CCC though. If they use autadex or Mitchell I can't speak for them :(.

I'm sorry that happened to you, I'm sure it was disappointing. Good thing the person who hit you is probably very insured.

I am glad you are safe and not hurt.

I hit a deer between Christmas & new year’s damage to bumper cover, grill & fender… the dealership body has not been able to get an estimate yet but a local body has within 3 days 🤔 she has Ford parts on the estimate and stated that she contacted someone at Ford parts. So I’m unclear why the dealership can’t?
