Removed the Black overlay on the B-C Pillars

I have to say I like it with the black covers removed. Once the weather gets warmer here I might do the same.

Yes they light up and flash with the turn signal. I bought the Amber Lenses for ETSY.

I have the exact ones. They are pretty good. Would like to see someone with a printer and use the exact same type plastic material used for the factory for the lens.

That was me. Lmfao…. I’m the one that did a step by step on how and what to use to clean that pillar. The orange peel from that factory was too much. I got it as smooth as a mirror

Hello, well I did it today. I removed the Black Overlays between the B & C Pillars today and I like the look. I saw something awhile back about the pillars being painted factory color so I said why not. It was a little work getting it all removed and I used a heat gun. Just a little cleaning and some ceramic wax and it looks great.

I like the factory color better than the black in my opinion. What's everyone's opinion?

I also removed the black vinyl a couple years ago and like it better that way.

I have a 24 Lariat Carbonized gray and BAP. The black on the pillars and tinted windows match up very well. Whatever works for you is what makes it yours. Enjoy the ride!

I have a white XL and I do like the look without the black. I think I will make the change this Spring! Thanks for the before and after photos next to each other. Makes it easy to see the difference.

On a separate note I agree with post #25 regarding the size of the grills on full size trucks. Hideous. I know....let's make the front as flat as possible and the size of a drive -in theatre screen. I mean....gas is only $3.00 a gallon.

Not a fan of the white pillars. But it’s your truck, and if you like it, that’s all that counts.

My MY25 XL in Space White came without the black pillars, cost saving I guess. I want to add the black vinyl. All personal preference.
