"Look at me, I'm clever and contrary, I enjoy the dichotomy of being a happy Maverick owner and at the same time pissing in everyone else's cheerios."

Same question, I love the maverick, but if they made a 2-door with just a little more bed length I would love it more.97 Nissan Hardbody 4x4. I loved this truck. Why don't they make a single cab small truck anymore?![]()
the market years ago proved that's not viable. it's the same reason we don't have a manual transmission ecoboost option- there are just too many people who want/need 4 seats and too few who can live with only 2.Same question, I love the maverick, but if they made a 2-door with just a little more bed length I would love it more.
That brings me back HRG,My Courier,,,,

I love my Maverick, but I don't need the crew cab. The extra bed space would be good too.Same question, I love the maverick, but if they made a 2-door with just a little more bed length I would love it more.
To have the best of both worlds, I am holding on to my 1996 Ranger for now.I love my Maverick, but I don't need the crew cab. The extra bed space would be good too.

The details are a little fuzzy from 45+ years ago, but that may be the Starcraft SS160 I had. Followed-up by a 18' Smokercraft, then a 21' Sylvan. All basically the same, full windshield aluminum bowriders. Is that a Starcraft I had one from the 80's with a 90 HP Johnson, great boat!
We are like soul brothers. I had a red 88 Mitsubishi Mightymax with the extended cab as my first pickup. It got stolen when I was in college so I bought a blue one with a regular cab. Both manual, both crank windows, thank god both had AC though. I put in my own stereos, and I replaced the steering wheel on one because the contacts for the horn button would wear out on those trucks and it would squeak. I traded mine up for a 1998 s-10 with a regular cab and 5 speed. No power anything. Put in my own stereo there too. It was amazing how easy and cheap it was to swap out a stereo back then.1988 Mighty Max Macro cab , mine was blue. Great truck for it's time. traded it in for 1998 S10![]()
My cousin bought a new 86 model of this... I remember her son sitting on the 'shelf' in the extra cab.My parents bought this new in 1985... It's been at my house for almost the last year. It's got 262k miles on it and it used to be our family vehicle. They put the topper on the back because I couldn't fit in the middle anymore.

My FIL had an '86 B2000. I could get a 3rd-gear scratch taking off from a dead-stop and giving it some gas. Not much HP, it was just so light in the rear. Loved that truck.Wish I had photos of all my old trucks. Over the years I had 2 Mazda’s (B2000 & B2200, both pre ranger). Also had 2 S10’s and all 4 were manuals…miss those days
I hear you. They were great little trucks. Mine was very similar to this:My FIL had an '86 B2000. I could get a 3rd-gear scratch taking off from a dead-stop and giving it some gas. Not much HP, it was just so light in the rear. Loved that truck.
