My front turn signal Lasfits and backup (I think) Lasfits continue to work fine but the rear Lasfits all quit. Went back to using the stock bulbs. Might get the hitch light that ties into the brake and running lights to boost the rear end lighting.
Mixed results for me. I had one of the front ones go out, then one of the rears. I pulled them all and put the OEM bulbs back, LASFIT is pricey and too much of hassle.

I am stopped using the last version of Lasfit. They would sometimes hyper flash when first put on turn signal and then stop hyperflashing. That did not bother me so much but then twice I had cars pull up next to me and tell me the brake lights were not working. That is a big problem. Wonder if all the Mavs that were rear ended were using Lasfits?
I would also like to know of a good led for the brake lights.
Understandable. As I mentioned in my post, I stopped using LasFits as well. I was really hoping they would come out with a working replacement, but I've given up hope.

I stopped using Lasfit on my 22 because they kept burning out. I haven't bought LED bulbs for my 25 yet but if I do it will either be Morimoto or GTR bulbs.
Thanks for your input. Can you give us a little more information about the Morimotos and GTR bulbs? I'm unfamiliar with both.

Yes, they have become that. Member @Tbone289 did a response time test between the OEM incans and LEDs. The LEDs reacted more quickly to brake pedal pressure than the incans. Up until seeing that test, I would've been satisfied with the incans and called it a day, but the quicker response time peeked my interest again.

Agreed, the OEM is slower which is the nature of incandescent halogen bulbs. The LED's look much better and give more distinction between the tailights and the signals as well. I would never buy anything from LASFIT again though.

At this point I'm not going to go through the hassle with LEDs. Hyperflash bugs me, and I don't want to deal with Forscan since I do not have a laptop. I'm not touching the OEM wiring for any reason, so inline resisters are out.

The Morimoto and GTR bulbs are a better known brand in the lighting world. I had a Morimoto retrofit kit in my Honda Element and the kit was top notch. Really good quality and light output was amazing. I emailed Headlight Revolution and they recommended those two brands.

Thank you. No issues with Ford's hyperflash recall? Best place to buy?

I only have the reverse and front turn signal bulbs in currently. I haven't had any issues so far. I did purchase the Morimoto tail light bulbs yesterday so when those arrive I'll get them installed and report back. I don't expect any issues. I bought my bulbs from Morimoto directly.

Thank you. Not sure if I already mentioned it, but I have the LEDs in the front turn signals, the reverse, and the top of cab bed light, all without issues. I'm looking forward to your report on the rear brake light. Your input is much appreciated.

No problem. I also have LED cab bed lights. I'm pretty sure they're Diode Dynamics.

By the way, I posted a question on the Morimoto Maverick bulb page asking of their bulb was compatible with Mavericks that had gone through the hyperflash recall. I'll post their answer as soon as I receive it.

Check out the Morimoto lighting website. Member @tkammen270 ordered bulbs and I posted a question to Morimoto regarding compatibility with recalled Mavericks. Hopefully, they will work out.

I believe most off road shops have the forscan because they install a lot of light setups. They only install Sylvania LEDs. It took them 5 minutes with the laptop.
