I am glad I retired early and did my travels . Now my vacation/retirement time is taken up with Drs appointments . Dentist , eye , urology and primary care . I can't stand all this fun ! Time to take maverick in for oil change .

My dealer comes and gets the truck if it has to go to the dealer; the last recall was done in my driveway.

After I drop the Mav off, my dealer calls a Lyft to drive me to work (or home), then delivers the truck back to me when finished.
Not bad.

I think Ford should pay me for my time wasted at the dealership doing recalls. I’ve spent about 30 hours total so far sitting in the waiting room.

They’ve Both come out to my house and do work, and come out to my house and pick up the truck to bring bring it in and do work

My Dealership sends a van out to change oil and due software upgrades. Unfortunately I went to the Dealership today because the msg that my battery has gone to safe mode, every other day for the last two weeks. They can't see me until November. We have a trio to Texas, supposedly in October, two weddings during November and December and maybe everything will work OK till then?
Well at least there will be a record showing I have this problem. Right? Nope, only after they see me and.work on it.
They suggested, I call Ford Motor Company and they may open a claim. May?????

I am apparent fortunate that my dealership has sent techs to my home to do all the recalls on my '23 XLT Hybrid while I do other important things like watch cartoons.

I'm in NC too. Asheville Ford sent a friendly tech to my driveway for free to do two controller firmware recalls. And I'm a 30 minute drive away. I went ahead and had him do the oil change while he was here.

Same great service by Sawgrass Ford in Sunrise FL. BTW, I was just in Asheville, a very attractive and liveable place!
