Has anyone had the recall and able to see in Forscan what the changes are? Did they just up the charging from 80%?

I had both 24S24 and 24S27 recalls done recently. I originally had my charge level changed to 95% by using ForScan. After the recall, the charge level reverted back to 80% so I once again changed it to 95% again.

Thanks! Wonder what they changed.

I just had 24S24 done on a 22 4k AWD and they didn't seem to touch most of the BCM. When I got 24S27 done I lost all my BCM related FORSCAN changes for cruise control.

NZ6T-14F390-ADD (BCM) only seems to affect the 12V alternator output detection failsafes built into the BCM. N1PA-12A650-AE (PCM/ECU) is an general alternator output increase. Coincidentally the PCM update coincides with a PCM strategy code update from NZ6A-14C204-HD to NZ6A-14C204-HE on my ecoboost.

I heard that some hybrid owners are on the x-HF version of the strategy code after the recall was frozen during its first two weeks of rollout (back when it was x-HE, which lead to some limp mode issues). Curious if any ecoboost owners are on this revision or if this was solely a hybrid/specific MY thing.

Well my 12 volt battery is dead. Next Monday the mobil reprogram technician will be in town. Reading other articles it is sughested to have a well charged battery? Well my is dead so I'll have to try to fix that in the a.m.. then proceed from there.

I would recommend buying an AGM battery (non-Ford). I bought my battery at Costco for $170 a few months ago. Ford will give you another junk battery for replacement. I also changed the charge level to 95% with ForScan. No issues for a few months now! (I have a 22 Mav EcoBoost).

Good to hear. Ford covered it under the 3/36 warranty. Now I wait till Monday for the recall work to be done at my home.
