Reason for concern?

My XLT was shipped on March 21st. The shipping has been delayed 3 times thus far. This evening received an email from Ford stating the “To ensure your complete satisfaction, we will require additional time before your 2022 Maverick XLT is delivered to……..“ Now scheduled to be delivered to my Norfolk, VA dealer in 10-14 days. Not trying to be paranoid after waiting 8 months but seems to be an interesting choice of wording. Thoughts??

Standard wording. Doesn’t mean anything except that there is some reason for them to put a hold on it. In our area, usually happens at Petersburg rail yard. Happened to me and I never learned the reason until it was delivered - SIBL issue. Yours is something different..

Mine sat in railyard 5weeks waiting to be transported....they didnt have trucking co that could transport it from what I was told...just more of the "signs of the times" i guess
