For $45 you can order from ford and get a truck bed cubby that fixes this . I used my fordpass points to get mine . cubby fits either side . I have xlt so already had one on right side . Will need two extra bolts also .

That will work if one does not have the LUX package. Losing the 400W outlet and bed light was not an option for me.
