Rear view mirror

Has anyone figured out a way to stiffen up the stock rear view mirror? I use a window shade on the windshield daily, and any little tiny bump of it throws the rear view mirror way off. It seems way looser than any rear view mirror I’ve ever seen.

I have the exact same problem! This is the most wiggly rearview mirror ever

Mine is also snug. Use a window shade daily during hot summer months. The bumps putting the shade up or down doesn't bother mine. Hope ya find a solution.

If the mirror stays in place without bumping it I'm quite happy and it so happens it does just that.

Fortunately, mine is stiff and hasn't moved at all, even with a wider mirror extension clipped onto the OEM one. Maybe the assembly is faulty?

I used the ford sun shade with “MAVERICK” on it and I have no problems.
