So I have been diving into this and it looks like the Lobo Spring has a rate of 380 while the regular XL/XLT is only 338 (4k tow and fx4 may have a 25lb higher rate, may also be an inch longer at least on tow). Going to a smaller spring by an inch with a higher rate should not affect payload too much IMO. But if you are worried you can always keep bags in the under-seat storage to reinforce the rear when needed.Any updates on the Lobo springs? Did anyone ever find out of the springs or the diff was the limiting factor on payload for the Lobo?
I REALLY want to level my XL AWD Mav!
