Took delivery this weekend. Because I opted for the factory all-weather floor liners, I just noticed I didn’t get any carpet floor mats in the back seat. Is this standard, or did my dealer forget them?

I don't think there are any rear carpeted mats for the Maverick, I didn't have any with my first one. But honestly if you have the floor liners I can't think of why you'd ever use any of the carpeted mats anyway...they are nice and so much easier to clean.

I bought my truck used, and it had the $175 "liners with carpeted mats" as an ordered option originally. The liners were there front and rear, but it only had carpet mats underneath in the front. I 86'd the front liners and left the rear liners in.

I didn't want the liners in the front because they are too slippery for me. The dealer flooded the whole interior with Armor All to sell, and it might have been resolvable with a good wash job, but personally I am used to carpet anyway. We get only a few inches of snow a year and it is gone within a week...

Preet sure my Tremor came with rear carpet floor mats. But they're somewhere down in my crawl space so can't confirm.

My 2023 XLT did not come with rear car floor mats. I went to Dollar Tree and for $1.25 each side, cut their mats to notch out for the front seat framing. Works great to keep the carpet clean and if something should spill on the mat I'll just replace it. Easy solution.

By random coincidence was wondering about rear floor mats as well today. As confirmed by others, my Tremor which I optioned for the all weather mats came with a bag that had only front "carpeted" mats.

Had this hairbrained idea to try layering the carpet mats over the all-weather ones (to get both comfort and protection). Trying this out now with the fronts...

Don't.
That is what was causing a lot of unintended acceleration. Double mats drastically increases the likelihood that one with get wedged either on top or below the pedals which can lead to issues with stopping or the accelerator getting stuck.

Ah thanks for the advice, I had not considered an impact on pedal movement... 🤔
