On page 99 of the Owner’s Manual, it says the rear light can be turned off or on by pressing its lens cover. My rear light lens has a different type of cover from the front two and does not activate by pushing the large lens. Instructions also mention a rear lamp switch. Where is it? Thanks for your help.

The rear of the actual lens moves (not the surround) , push it up fairly hard....

Your initial post states the rear dome light doesn't activate when pushing on the lens, now you state it stays on even when pushing the lens...

The front and rear overhead lights illuminate when the doors are opened, and turn off with a time delay when the doors are closed or the ignition is set to the 'on' position..

Once off, they can be switched on (then off) independently by pressing on them.

Get in the rear seat, close all doors, wait the ~30 seconds for all interior lights (including the rear dome light) to go out, then push on the back of the rear dome lens to turn it on then push again to turn off as needed.
