Yesterday, I had the rear camera lockup on the dash after I put it in Drive and started to go down the street. It stayed stuck for about 10 seconds, and so I pulled over and was going to reboot it. But then, the whole entertainment system shut down and rebooted on its own - Ford logo came up on screen like it does when you start the truck - and now works as normal. Pretty sure it was some kind of glitch after I've had my phone and USB thumbdrives hooked up at various times. I've seen some posts on here where this happened to others, but I never saw one where it rebooted itself. I do have the camera recall software installed, so maybe the auto-reboot is something new? Just wondered if anybody else has had this happen.

I had an issue where the backup camera would stay on even when I was going forward. At the same time this happened, my radio would be on when I started the truck, even though I shut it off before shutting the truck off. The dealer fixed it by replacing something behind the screen. I'm not sure what they replaced. I haven't had the problem since then. That was about 18 months ago. My truck is a 23 lariat.

Mine does this every once in while, before and after the recall update. Sometimes I'll be driving along and the music will stop, screen becomes unresponsive, and then it reboots itself before I do it. For what its worth, I'm usually using a wirless carplay adapter.

My screen froze twice, once until I restarted the truck. Both times while using a USB. That was a few months ago. I was going to take it to the dealer, but it hasn't happened since.

I believe having the reverse camera stay on after you are back in drive is an option in settings. I like it, and there is an X in the corner if you want to close it and go back to normal screen.

had mine reboot itself several months ago. I froze while loading. I pulled over, shut everything down, even opened the door and waited. Screen stayed on half booted up. Figured I would go the the dealer the next day if continued, then maybe 15 min later it rebooted it's self. Not happened since.
