You'll also find things in the manual that don't exist.
Like Interior Sensors and inclination sensors.
Though it does say "if equipped," these are not even an option.
The Perimeter Plus Alarm only includes a shock sensor.

I'm 71. What am I supposed to put the disc in to view it?
I did download a .pdf version of the manual for my PC, phone and tablet. Unlike the paper version, it's zoomable and searchable. Get a copy at ford.com
The .pdf on my phone came in handy when discussing oil capacity with my mechanic. I was able to quickly confirm the oil capacity and filter type for my Hybrid on the first oil change.

I do wish there was a separate manual for each trim level in both Hybrid and ecoboost versions. But it's cheaper for Ford to just do the owner-confusing "one size fits all" way it's currently issued.

Isn't there an inclination sensor for the computer to determine whether or not to auto-set the parking brake?

I agree. But I don't have the car yet, just the manual I downloaded. And the damn thing is daunting! It's over 500 pages! 'Reminds me of my goals to read "Walden Pond" and the Bible.

I didn't get very far in either one.

I actually like learning about features that I maybe could have had or at least are available. I admit though, that it is sometimes confusing as to whether or not I have a given feature.

Could be, not part of the alarm system though that I know of.
