Looking to see if anyone has had their RDU rebuilt under warranty. What led to the rebuild, time frame for parts and completion?

Maybe you’ll be the first? What model/year & mileage are you at? Why do you think you may need a rebuild? Am I being too nosy?Looking to see if anyone has had their RDU rebuilt under warranty. What led to the rebuild, time frame for parts and completion?
Very interesting. I was hearing the same thing on my 2022 Maverick and the noise went away after draining and refilling the RDU. I'm at 61k right now so I think I no longer have coverage. That stinks!I have a 2022 Lariat AWD with 4K towing package with 33K miles. The vehicle started to have a growling noise at slow speeds turning. After inspection by the selling dealership they stated the RDU needs to be rebuilt. There are a few TSB's out on the issue.

I'm thinking that draining and refilling the RDU would work, not sure why they went straight to the rebuild option.Very interesting. what are the symptoms that you experience?I had my RDU drained and refilled at 78k miles. I am now at 106k and it has happened again. I have an appointment with the dealership this month.
DO you know what the wait times are for a replacement unti?Dealer will just get a replacement assembly, it's been reported before at the Bronco Sport forum (Badlands, First Edition, Heritage Limited)
My 24 I swapped for redline rdu fluid. Seemed to work much better for traction. About 2 mo th ago I had the same weird sound after turning. Random awd disabled signals. Then nothing. Towed a lot of trailers in ff road adventures and about 20k miles. No such sounds again and everything seems fine.Very interesting. Up to 20 business daysDO you know what the wait times are for a replacement unti?
So is your truck dead in the water? My RDU failed at 21K my understanding is there are no parts available to repair these and no repair is to be attemped on the unit. This is a Dana part and is replaced as a unit. Mine was replaced under warranty no issues. I looked up the part Ford list was around $900 so not real expensive for what it is. The labor to replace looks like a PIA.
