Rail Car Empty in CA

Got my notifications for my truck built (04-11) and shipping (04-13) with delivery estimate between 05-04 to 05-10.

However, when I check my rail car status, it says it’s empty in CA from March.

How long after getting your rail car number did the CSX system show it active? Thanks!

It probably didn't actually ship/leave the plant yet. Maybe that's the railcar it will have, but hasn't been loaded/departed?

Mine took about a week after build completion until it actually shipped.
I haven't used CSX tracking...just vehicle visibility. It had been stuck @ Mexico/AZ border for a while. But shows up this morning in St Louis!

Have you been checking from the 4/13 date or only just now?

Railcars get filled then emptied then move somewhere else to get filled again. This process repeats over and over again.

Here are snapshots on my rail delivery showing loading, then unloading at the Dallas Railyard then moving empty to the next location to be loaded again.

The "L" in the report shows the railcar as loaded whereas the "E" means the railcar is empty.

I got the rail car number on 4-13 and have checked daily since.

What is the link for the website you’re using to get that info?
