Radio not working properly. Second time in two days. Can reset with Vol+ Next button. Any Ideas?

FYI about radio software updates, from the ford.com site:

After installation is finished, it will take a few ignition cycles for the software to be updated. There will be a temporary message on the top bar stating “Update installation complete” when it is done.

Also, the two button tango on the infotainment screen initiates a soft reset. If the glitch still persists, might consider doing a hard reset (which will wipe all your presets and other non-default settings, which a soft reset does not, so they'll need to be configured to your preferences again).

That's what mine says but when I goto 'Scan for Updates' it gives me a status bar. It did go to 100%. and I thought Maybe try to see what changed. The same version number and says installing. Maybe give it 30 minutes..

I gave up on using the home WiFi, truck does not get a good connection. Always would hang up at 20-38%, and you have to restart from 0%.

Using Mobile Hotspot, the download took 12 mins. Roughly, 520Mb downloaded/uploaded. Install took about 5 mins. Though my version number hasn't been updated.

Update: Waited till next day, turned the car into accessory, was informed of the new update via car speaker and a popup notification.

The infotainment system will automatically reconnect to the WiFi, didn't do that before. Date for the last update check appears to update, previous was stuck on November.

Did not fix the brightness issue on non-Sync/Sync 2.5 infotainment screen. Seems to have a minimum and maximum ceiling for the display brightness. Does not do anything past the medium display brightness if the dash is set to maximum.

Haven't had any more problems with radio after update.
