Quick FordPass question

Might have been answered already somewhere, but..is there any cost to maintain the functionality of the FordPass app? Such as remote start, unlock/lock doors, etc (assuming that it does these things). Having bought a Colorado to get my by for a bit i was disappointed to find out that the MyChevy app only allowed these functions when you paid for, i believe, an onstar membership.

Not at this time. Technically they could always charge in the future, or disable the functionality, but I don't see anything about a time-limited trial.

I had a 2019 Hyundai Tucson that the app was free for 3 years, then it cost something like $10 a month so I was pleased to find the FordPass is free.

No money spent by the owner. However Ford tracks and takes your driving data if you permit its use. Some are OK with this, strong no for me.
