Questions I should ask dealer?

Meeting with Ford dealer on Friday , my 2022 Maverick not being built this yr. Moved 2023. Any suggestions on questions I should be asking dealer? Besides deliver date!! Thanks

comfirmed signed contract. that way the dealer cant change the deal. no add-ons, dealer fees, nitrogen in tires, etc. everything up front.

They haven't released pricing or options for 23 Maverick yet. And they haven't given specifics about any price protection and/or incentive for switching from 22 to 23.

How do you know it is being moved to 23? You have highly constrained items you don't want to drop? Ford is still scheduling 22s and has not identified specifically which orders will need to move to 23.

You dealer will have no idea about the delivery date. Or about when it would be scheduled. They will start building 23 Mavericks in late October/early November. That's all dealers will know.

I actually don’t know just preparing for the worst news. Down payment last October

Even without price or options cost available, you can still get protected. Agree to MSRP plus tax, tag, and title. Make sure you give them a down payment, its not a legal contract in my state without that and the dealer can mess with the deal when it arrives. If they may tell you a down payment isnt needed, give them one anyway.
