Does anyone know yet how many Mavericks were scheduled 1/19? Will they be scheduling next Thurs and if so, what part of the country? Seems like it’s been more than a few weeks since EBs have been scheduled..

Secondly, what happens if my dealership has already had their 11 allocated mavericks scheduled? Are the rest of the orders just SoL?

I think there were six Mavericks scheduled yesterday. Seriously, I think it was a clean-up day for February (essentially, Ford will filling in any holes left in the schedule after moving some of the trucks that were "double booked" to March).

As for allocations, if that is their monthly allocations that are used up, they will get more next month. If they only had 11 for the year and all 11 have been built, then that's a problem as they won't get any more trucks unless Ford manually intervenes.

In general scheduling happens every Thursday, but they sometimes cancel scheduling for a vehicle line (ie. if parts shortages cause them to "fill up" that week with delayed already-scheduled vehicles).

Allocation is given monthly. If your dealer has all of their allocated orders scheduled, then no more orders will be considered for scheduling until your dealer has more allocation.

If they are monthly allocations that are used up, then you will have to wait until he gets his February allocations. Based on the calendar, that means it probably won't be until the week of February 6-10.

Thank you Bob. Unfortunately, they only had 11 allocated for the year, 68 orders taken….I am not sure how many of the 11 have been built, I was just trying to understand how dealer allocations worked. Again, I appreciate it.

Do you know if they are scheduling Mavericks next week?

Thanks, Kevin. Perhaps I misunderstood the sales mgr, he made it sound like they took 68 orders, but we’re only allocated 11. I didn’t ask, but it didn’t sound like that was for the first month and I am pretty sure that 11 were not already scheduled. I told him that my chances of getting one are pretty low with that ratio and he just gave the “well you never know” response. So I left thinking that was all they were getting for this MY.

Wow. Boo on them if they knowingly took 6X as many orders as they had allocated.

Scheduling information usually pops on Monday. But Ford has ignored their own guidance the last two weeks.

Ford sent out some rather low "estimated" yearly allocation just before Maverick ordering ended (so most dealers probably had more orders than allocation before they even knew what their estimated allocation was!). Ford revised this estimated # later in September. Ford did tell dealers that they were being conservative, and that they hoped to be able to build more. And that they would still be monitoring order banks wanting to fulfil retail orders.

Dealers just don't know what will be scheduled. We are now telling people we are not sure if their orders will schedule either (not just Mavericks). We've had some vehicles schedule that I never thought would.... as well some some not schedule, that we had allocation for and that didn't seem to have any constraints.
We just got in a stock Bronco Sport that was ordered in September of 2021.

Ford will have capacity to build EBs. If you have a retail EB ordered, I think you can be optimistic about it being built.
