Picked up my '25 XLT a couple weeks ago. After spending time learning all the features deciding what Mods I want to do, I ordered a bed liner and tailgate liner. While installing the tailgate liner I noticed the Maverick decal on both sides of the bed were a little boogers up. This is a picture of the passenger side. Driver's side doesn't have splotch, but the M is the same

That would drive me crazy!! Fortunately there are plenty of good quality replacements available...go to etsy.com. There are a ton of options to replace that mess.

You know those were dealer-installed right? Go back to the dealer and have them replaced.

The dealer and I have a contentious relationship after I poked them in the eye a few times. They are not happy with me. Like saving the $1200 for the license plate by going to the DMV myself. Yes, you can do tax (the tax is the same, don't finance your taxes), tag, and title yourself at a fraction of the cost. I live in a small town with it's own DMV and the line is normally under two people. I'm retired and go when they open. I won't even go into the other things they tried.

Understood. I hate to ask, but what did you pay for some kind of dealer-installed "appearance" package? Looks like they were still able to stick it to you.

No they tried. When they brought the numbers, there was a "Perks Package" on the price listing for $4995. Explained as a concierge service by the dealer. Which amounted to 2 or 3 oil changes depending on driving habits, and dealer add on to the car. Also my salesman would act as the concierge. My XLT is pretty standard and other then then a black pin strips and the decals mentioned above. Nothing was added to the car. I told them that those are part of the dealer prep $1199 fee. Another profit fee.
I paid cash for the truck, no financing. Once presented with the "Perks Profit Package" I got mad and started to leave. They back peddled quickly and removed the perks. I got $500 off the list price, the $1199 dealer prep fee (tried to get that removed also) and some misc stamp fees? That was the deal. I paid tax, tag, title at the DMV the next day and when I went to take delivery brought the plate with me.
All said and done they still made their money. Difference between what they paid to what I paid -$500, and the $1199 dealer prep fee.

Heat the decals up with a hair dryer and peel them off. From what I can see of them, they look terrible. Your dealer sounds like a real piece of work.

Exactly what I would do. I do not like all sorts of excessive branding, labeling and dealer advertising cluttering my vehicle's appearance.

More recent Dealer fun. I guess because I didn't but the extended warranty they decided to screw up my plate with the DMV. In Florida The decal on the plate has the plate number on it. The other day I went to take the dealers license plate frame off and noticed that the decal didn't match the plate number, but looked familiar.

Long story short is he put a anew decal for a different car I own on a plate and put it on the Truck. I took the plates off the other car and the truck and went to the DMV. Turns out the registration for my other car was renewed for the truck with the decal put on a different plate. The DMV printed me a new decal for my other car plate and I put that on that plate and the truck. My other car died last summer and I have decided to get rid of it anyway. The plate the dealer had put on the truck didn't exist in the DMV system.

The DMV is 3 minutes from home the dealer is 45 minuets and I had to renew my other truck anyway. 2006 F150 295K miles.

Have you posted any full on pictures of your truck. I'd like to see what the decal m and pinstriping package looks like.

I don't have one of the broadside showing the pin stripes and Maverick emblem. I'll get one next I remember.
