Anyone use clear film on scratch prone interior plastic? I'm thinking kick plates, lower door panels, thresholds, pillars (seat belt buckle hits). Thanks.

I don’t think it will work. I believe that type of material needs to go in a smooth surface. Could be wrong though.Anyone use clear film on scratch prone interior plastic? I'm thinking kick plates, lower door panels, thresholds, pillars (seat belt buckle hits). Thanks.
I found this. Maybe a possibility? Good luck.I don’t think it will work. I believe that type of material needs to go in a smooth surface. Could be wrong though.
The funny thing is that the trucks come with protective plastic that covers the door sills and the bottom of the door panels and other interior parts from the factory. The dealership removes the plastic at the time of delivery to inspect the truck. I've seen them in person and the plastic they use is not cheap, could probably last a long time. I would like to find something similar to use on my Maverick. I wish they would have left mine on, lol. These interior panels scratch and scuff too easily.Anyone use clear film on scratch prone interior plastic? I'm thinking kick plates, lower door panels, thresholds, pillars (seat belt buckle hits). I recently applied this. It works pretty good and it does not come off so far. I installed in bottom door panels, door sills, and anywhere that will scuff or scratch. If this lasts me a few months, it is totally worth it. You can cut it to fit any interior area of the Maverick.Anyone use clear film on scratch prone interior plastic? Glad to see this here! We were talking about solutions for this in this other thread. Do you have any update you care to give on how this has held up?
