Protect interior with 3M clear bra film?

Anyone use clear film on scratch prone interior plastic? I'm thinking kick plates, lower door panels, thresholds, pillars (seat belt buckle hits). Thanks.

I don’t think it will work. I believe that type of material needs to go in a smooth surface. Could be wrong though.

Regular PPF won't work. I tried several times with it and several kinds of vinyl. It will stick but it won't stay due to the textured surface.

Thanks for the replies. Guess I stick with cleaning and 303 protectant.

The included door sill protectors do the job for the painted area. Mats are very nice too.

The funny thing is that the trucks come with protective plastic that covers the door sills and the bottom of the door panels and other interior parts from the factory. The dealership removes the plastic at the time of delivery to inspect the truck. I've seen them in person and the plastic they use is not cheap, could probably last a long time. I would like to find something similar to use on my Maverick. I wish they would have left mine on, lol. These interior panels scratch and scuff too easily.

I recently applied this. It works pretty good and it does not come off so far. I installed in bottom door panels, door sills, and anywhere that will scuff or scratch. If this lasts me a few months, it is totally worth it. You can cut it to fit any interior area of the Maverick.

It looks the same as the first day I installed them. It is holding up perfectly . No peeling. Looks and protects great.

I also use the 3M clear protectant film on the inside door sill.
