Quick little update. Today at work, going over my progress with a buddy, he says another guy at work has gallons of Methanol left from his racing season. So, long story short, I just bought 5 gallons of Methanol for $20, and now I will have 10 gallons of 50/50 water/meth for $2.75/gallon!!!!!

That's not a bad score!!!

So what's next after wiring it up? Spray with current maps, datalog, send to 5Star and wait for them to build a new map?

Yes, once I can datalog it, 5Star can make adjustments to timing to try to gain some power. Like I said before, I think the turbo is maxed, so all my gains will probably come from only timing, so not as big of gains as if I were to have a larger turbo.

Boost weather is finally here! Too bad my local track closed, because it rained 6 hours before race time....

Trapped my highest speed yet, 116mph! Now I just need my 0-60 back down in the high 3s!

So my phone just gave me my weekly usage, and I was on dragy for over 6 hours.... lots of testing, lol.

Sadly, I still haven't gone faster than my 12.09@114mph, but I did go 12.10@115mph. It's ridiculous how hard it's proving to be to go .1 second faster, haha.

Side note: I didn't have my rear under panel on, and I literally ripped my rear bumper off doing a pass on Friday. Another oops on my part, lol.

This was with the water/meth. I'm running about 3-4° more timing than the base E30 file.

does your tune have launch control? I know that Livernois offers it, and some folks aren't happy with the price they charge to enable it. (basically double?) but I don't know about 5Star

I don't have any launch control. It doesn't even want to pull the usual 3psi it used to. It basically launches at 0psi, and comes in hard right after rollout. I'm still pulling 4.01 0-60, so it's not far off....

Well, I went to the track and fought issues the whole time! For the first half of the night it wouldn't give me full boost, so I switched to an older revision so hopefully it would "relearn", and then itcran a couple of 12.4x's and two 12.39's just can't catch a break with it!

There was another maverick there with E30, downpipe, intake, and intercooler, but I only saw him run a 14.0@101ish.....

Small update. I found a stupid good deal on some bronco sport wheels, so I drove a bit to go get them. No damage, one has some small scuffs you can barely see, and I paid $120 for all 4! In case you were wondering the real weight of these wheels, its 20.6-20.8#s, with wheel weights still attached!
