I was one of the people who were “late to the game “ , by that I didn’t order my Maverick Hybrid until October. I received a confirmation email from Ford confirming my order, but haven’t seen anything else. Will I get email updates through the process as it says they will? Do I need to be concerned that I haven’t received my production date? Thanks from Tennessee!

I ordered mine on 6/28 and didn't get the scheduled for production e-mail until 10/14, stating I was scheduled for production 12/6. It takes awhile.

I also ordered in October and am still waiting. There are many factors that can affect how long you will wait. A few of these factors are: what trim level and options you selected, whether there are any constraints on components needed to build your vehicle, and the allocations Ford allots the dealer you ordered from. Larger dealers with higher sales volume are getting more Mavericks than smaller dealers. I ordered from Granger in Iowa and they don't seem to be getting many allocations. In the 3 months since I ordered, I am told my place in line has moved from #66 to #36. At that rate, I am figuring another 3 months wait for me, not counting shipping time from Mexico.

Regarding notifications from Ford, If you look on your order confirmation email at the bottom, it states the following:

Throughout the production process, we will keep you updated on the status of your order. You will receive email notifications when your 2022 Maverick LARIAT is:

  • Scheduled for Production – all necessary parts are secured, and your order has been placed in the production schedule.
  • Built – when your vehicle has been built, we will let you know of the estimated arrival date at your dealership.
  • Shipped – when your vehicle has been shipped and is on its way to your dealership, we’ll include the latest estimated arrival date.

Like many others on this forum, it appears we're in for a long wait. Hang in there and your Maverick will eventually get here.

So you don’t have a build date either?
Nope do not! Looks like they are getting close but cannot really tell as their are so many variables in their process. No one has mentioned tires but they may be having shipping problems getting some things in plant inventory in quantities. Who knows. They replaced the Spray in bed liner with drop in bed liner and since SIBL was included in the lux package I do not know but am guessing that was caused by number of lux packages purchased resulted in the spray in being booked up during the production run. Again do not know but ????? Just be patient.

My Lariat First Edition Hybrid was ordered/confirmed on June 21. Nothing yet. No updates, anything.

I wouldn't sweat it yet either - I ordered a hybrid FE on 6/21 and didn't get a build date email until 12/9 (and the actual build week isn't until next week).

Your Luck , I haven’t received a email or anything from Ford. I order my Maverick in October too. My salesperson doesn’t have clue either.

I ordered from Granger on Oct 13th, last I heard was I was number 35 in line, that was Dec 1st. Apparently they got allocated 0 Mavericks last month. We may be waiting longer than 3 months...
They seem to be a very high volume dealership though, so you would think they would be allocated more than most, certainly not 0.

At that point it will be 10 years before they get all of the ones they have on order delivered

Unfortunately, the fact that an order doesn't seem to move up in line isn't necessarily tied to allocations. Constraints and/or parts the factory has to build with is more likely the cause. Zach at Granger recently told me (paraphrasing here):

"Ford has a list of options they want to build and that is what they build. They jump all over my list."
