When you say “the whole thing will likely need to come off to reinstall/replace” do you mean that the whole bumper will likely need to come off to make the repair? So, it’s not a question of just popping the sensor back in to the hole, assuming it is in fact dangling behind the bumper?

That’s a good point. To be honest I didn’t check to see if it may have gotten dislodged from the hole and is hanging behind the bumper. That might explain the lack of a “fault message” like “Check Rear Park Aid.” Thanks, I will look later today.
