Problem putting rear seat back down

Has anyone besides me had a problem putting the rear seat back down after raising it up to put something in the under seat storage? If so, how were you able to put it back into place? TIA

It locks in the up position. You need to pull the handle that releases it to lower it again.

Pull on the same release strap that was used to lift it? How did YOU get it back down…

Finally got it down by having a friend yanking on the strap on
one side and me on the other. Shouldn't be that difficult

It's not that difficult. Takes a little effort but has to keep seat back locked in case of crash.

Mine was a little stiff at first, but got easier after doing it a few times.
