Maverick owner since October 2021 - I have basically ignored all of the recalls (8 I believe) since there hasn't been any manifestation or issues. My Ford dealer where I purchased the vehicle called yesterday to schedule me bringing it in for service and I just kept telling him that I am not bringing in the vehicle since I can't be without it all day (or two). Bottom line is that they scheduled a home visit and will address all of the recalls (software and replace the battery) except the pillar air bag issue this afternoon. So I get to work in the yard while they update my Maverick. I'll remember to unplug my dash cam since I remember reading in a thread that using a fuse tap can interfere with the updates. I'll follow up when completed.

With that many updates, it's probably important to have the battery connected to a trickle charger during the process. If not, the 12 volt battery may go into battery saver mode which could corrupt the software update. Many dealers do this, but you might want to make sure the mobile tech does this.

Mobile tech was excellent. Took about 1.5 hours and all done. New battery installed. Absolutely painless.

Is there a way to look up dealerships/service departments and find out which ones do this? Or do all Ford dealerships/service departments provide mobile service? I just bought my Maverick a couple of months ago, so all the recalls were performed before they could turn it over to me, but knowing Ford, and knowing the recall history of Mavericks, I'm sure I'll be in need of this service in the future.

I would just call your local dealers and ask about the mobile service. I live in a urban area and this is the dealership that I purchased my Maverick from.

Just a quick update after driving around for a few days after the mobile visit for all of my software recall installations - As another has posted I noticed that the screen was brighter and believe that the resolution is crisper to view (my partner noticed also). CarPlay seems to load a bit quicker - still having the CarPlay call answering issue - pick up an incoming call and it doesn't go to truck speakers, just the iPhone speaker. Back up camera is more responsive. It may be my delusion, but the truck seems to respond quicker when I romp the gas and hit the turbo - seemed to have a bit of a lag prior. Final observation - the Ford Pass app took about three days to update and remove all of the recalls that had been addressed.

Same for me. I finally broke down when they wanted to do it in my driveway even though I had zero issues in the last year. Took half an hour. No noticeable difference except a new feature in my backup camera screen that I won't ever use.
