My dealer honored the price I was given on September 15 2022 as a matter of fact he mentioned it before I showed him my paperwork they were great to work with Conway Heaton in Kentucky

Of the 3 I’ve done from Sept 2022.
First dealer mails me a check after they get it from Ford which is over a 3 month process. Still waiting on it.

Second dealer gives the price protection at the time of sale, no waiting on money from Ford.

Third dealer does not give the price protection from Ford stating it was their dealership policy due to not getting the rebates checks from Ford in the past.

My dealer (Randell Ford), would not honor the price protection for the Feb 2023 increase. They also had no clue about the spray in bedliner / cargo management discount in January of 23’. Had to prove that one to them. So either they are incompetent, dishonest, or some combination of the two.
The combo discount wasn’t something the dealer did. Ford did it and the discount shows up on the window sticker and for my build it was completely automatic. I asked my dealer to add the cargo system since I already had SIBL in my original build, this was one month before my scheduled build date so I wasn’t sure it would take. My dealer did nothing special. Your dealer did you a solid if they gave you the discount.

I actually went in to the dealer after the combo discount was announced and added the appropriate add-ons. I was adding this fact because they were not aware of the discount and were confused about it until they finally found it in the system to add.

Obviously they were not keeping on top of any notices for that…why would I expect them to do any better with the price protection.

So just to confirm your window sticker did not look like this?

The sticker in deed had the discount for that portion. The dealer wasn’t aware of the $225 discount until I told them about it and they updated my order form.

They did not honor the order form price from January before the February price increase. I was supposed to pay $32,115 plus doc fee and ended up paying $32,820 plus doc fee.

The $500 Feb 2023 price increase qualifies for Ford's price protection but it is paid to the dealer 45 to 60 days after the sale. Ford tells dealers to give it to the customer but can't make them do it. Honest dealers pass it on, dishonest dealers keep it. Sounds like you got the latter.
That is for a 23 MY order that is delivered during 23 MY. If you don't receive it during 23 MY and you rollover to a 24 MY truck then there is no $500 price protection but if order rules were followed there is a transition private offer.
No you do get all the price protection on the 23 rollover
Anyway why not ford send use the customer the check direct
You have fight these people for it,

You don't get order specific Price Protection with a rollover. You get whatever the Private Offer amount is for that drivetrain. Depending on what you ordered this is either good or bad. For example my MY22 to MY23 roller over Private Offer was $2750 however my Lariat Lux Hybrid with the upgrades I added went up more than $2750 so it cost me more while someone that ordered a MY22 XL hybrid got the same $2750 even though their price increase was no more than ~$1500. In the end I still got a younger truck on paper with A plan so I was still happy. Been a great truck.

Ford doesn't send customer the check because the dealer bought the truck from Ford, not the customer. Remember the truck belongs to the dealer until the customer takes it.

I am dealing with an issue from my price protection for MY22 > MY23 transition order not being reflected from Ford @ Granger. The Finance person said that this is no longer available (In fact said he's never heard of such a thing to exist and thinks I'm making it up), is this true? It's a difference of $1750 to my understanding for a Hybrid to keep the price in check with what was offered in MY22. Last correspondence from over a year ago stated that it would have to be applied at the time of purchase. I have the copy of the Memo # from Ford as well as all the correspondence. The finance person seems to have NO idea what I am talking about and is threatening to cancel the sale if I don't pay for the entire vehicle in full as that's what was agreed. Is there someone at Ford I can speak to that can assist me with this? The did include some $500 offer I was not expecting, maybe for shipping difference? It has been exactly 2 years to the day of the initial MY22 order, so you would think Ford would be more gracious to assist. ALSO, the salesman said that I cannot sell this vehicle to anyone other than family members during the life of the vehicle, or face litigation from Ford and made me sign some sort of waiver. Which was appauling to say the least.. This will be the last time I do business with Ford! My initial MY22 was a breeze as I just bought what was on the dealer lot and sold it when I found the Subaru I wanted. Easy, peasy.
