Price Increase on Window Sticker

I am lucky to have my Maverick in production and have received a window sticker. However the sicker is $520.00 more than when I ordered and more than the contact I have with the dealer Any thoughts on how I should handle this once the truck comes in. Increase's are $420.00 on base price and $100.00 more on destination charge. Option prices stayed the same.

Just remind your dealer that you will pay the contract amount when your truck comes in.

When you place a Special Order.....Ford gives Price Protection. Meaning they will reimburse the Dealer for the amount of the MSRP increase.
However, there is NOTHING in writing to guarantee that the Dealer will file for this and give it to YOU.
So, contact your Dealer and ask if they are giving price protection back to you on your order. They get paid by Ford in a few weeks after filing for it. Most will take that amount off at delivery.

Window stickers always get made up with the current prices. This is in case you don’t buy it, that is the price.
Dealer should pick your ‘ordered date‘ in Smart Vincent, and use that price.
My dealer just knows how to do it, and I never had any issues with getting the proper price. Other dealers are not as savvy.
You will find out what kind of dealer yours is.

The dealer may try their luck, but just say no. It should that easy. It was for me.

Ford should be offering a $100 a month discount for each month from the time you order until you receive for waiting so long lol. And they think they can go to limited dealer stock on hand to cut year end price slashing sales and promise delivery of an ordered vehicle within 6-8 weeks....LMAO

Your dealer will honor the original price on order sheet. Mine did.

If your dealership is honest, they will honor the price protection.

If they say no. Have someone at the dealership check Smart Vincent. Dealer gets the $520
back in 45 days. This assumes you are the original purchaser.
