I’ve installed my own kill switches in the past 3 cars I’ve had. If done correctly you can hide them in plain sight. If you don't want it stolen, just install a hidden kill switch. Remains the best tried-and-true method.

Wasn’t that the movie Gone in 60 Seconds ?If you google 'CTV news for auto thefts in Canada there are probably 100s if responses. In Toronto alone there were more than a 1000 vehicle thefts in January alone. As the previous video shows, Another home security video show a vehicle stopping, 2 people getting out, one heading to the front of the house and the other to the target Ram. Had the Ram started and driving down the road in 45 secs.
These are major Auto Theft Companies getting vehicles for overseas markets. Shipped out in containers from shipping ports in Montreal and Halifax. In one article these people have scouts to find areas, addresses with target vehicles. A night or two later the actual thieves come out, collect there targets and gone. The scouts get $200 for each and the drivers apparently $2 - 3000.
Personally I'm not too worried about the Maverick, they are targeting high end vehicles, Rams, F150s, and high end SUVs, Lexus etc.
