Does anyone know of pre cut 5% windshield strips? Looking to tint the top of my windshield, but would rather buy ready to install precut strips.

When we were in town.
I went to a professional window tinter, he asked me how far down I wanted glare strip to go on the windshield. I showed him. He input the size on the computer and cut them on the plotter and installed them for $40.
That way i did not have to accept somebody else's idea of how far down it should go.
I actually may have it redone a little lower.

They may exist, but I'm not aware of any pre-cut strips. A professional window tint place can do it for not much money. Lowest legal tint line in majority of states is down to the AS-1 line printed on the edge of the windshield, several inches down from the top.

Precut are available for most vehicles, but not finding them for the Maverick.

Ordered from Tint effect. A bit pricey, but perfect cuts, and zero imperfections. Very easy install with no trimming required. Would but again.Hmmm

I paid 35.00 to my sun strip professionally installed. 45.00 per front window,so around 137.00 with tax for all 3 at my local shop.

Sounds like a fair price.
I didn't want anyone cutting tint on my windshield. Cost me the same, and perfect computerized cuts. But no buffoon in my truck.

Most shops nowadays usually computer program and a plotter to cut their tints to the perfect size.
Cuts down on the freehand mistakes.

I ordered pre-cut from filmvantage. They offered an array of tint percentages and types. I went with 15% carbon ceramic. Can’t recall the price but it was in the ballpark of other offerings.

Or have a glass board on a wall for cutting tint. The shop I've gone to for years does anyway.
