POWER DRAIN. Maverick needed to be jumped after sitting for 24 hours

Looking for Help. I have 2022 XLT Hybrid. If I let the vehicle sit about 24 hours it needs to be jumped. Been to dealer 4x and they say everything checks out. Parasitic draw was .005 according to the shop and 12V battery checked out

I have not taken mine to shop yet but my 12v loses 0.05v over night but during colder 35°F nights seemed to lose 0.1v. I have never needed a jump but if my 12v is reading below 12.1v I will put hybrid in ready status for 30-40minutes for ice to cycle about 3 times and let HVB charge 12v. Some 22's had a bad terminal end on the 12v positive end in the ice compartment. Probably not on yours, as I believe the affected ones have their vins marked now. Some have turned off their Ford pass app as they thought excessive communication to your phone was draining their bats. Sometimes resetting the BMS has cured their problem. It takes at least 30 minutes of ready or being driven at least on mine every third day

Thanks James, I did delete my Ford Pass App and placed keys for away from vehicle I was told they may be "communicating" at night. These are great ideas you gave as Dealer can't find anything. Is Ready status basically just leaving it in Park ? I think resetting BMS is great Idea is that something I can do ? I also uploaded and installed all new software. I'll have them check terminals. I was thinking maybe it was a bad ground or wire Harness Issue . What does ICE stand for ? Thanks again

Thanks, so my Maverick has now been in my garage 22 hours. went from 12.6 volts to 10.76 volts does this sound normal to anyone with Hybrid ?

Deleting the app from your phone won't do anything. It's still sending data to Ford, you just can't see it now.

If you want to save battery, you need to turn off the connectivity in the infotainment system of your car. Honestly the bigger drain there is the car's wifi though.

That said, none of this should be sending your car into deep sleep or draining the battery that fast.

OK TY, I know it sat in Mexico a long time before delivery. I read people had issues with corrosion in and with connection to fuse box, the I was thinking Harness connection or I heard possibly bad ground . IDK frustrated as it only has 5,000 miles

Try reset your BMS. I had this issue when I installed a aftermarket subwoofer and the remote turn on wasn’t wired properly so the subwoofer stayed on for almost 5 minutes before it “auto shut off”. The issue was fixed but the battery drain remained. I knew if I took it to the dealer they’ll automatically look at the subwoofer and claim it’s fault.

I kept getting FordPass notifications daily about the truck entering deep sleep mode, no dome lights or remote starting.

I did the BMS reset presented here and no more issues for over 2 weeks now

OK I'll try the BMS reset tomorrow after I see if the 12V battery drains tonight after disconnecting neg terminal TY ! I will follow video

Thanks. I have no problems now but I'd like to be ready. I wonder about the worth of a battery isolated switch?

Ford has a TSB for the Maverick's deep sleep mode, has anyone took it to a Ford dealership and had this done, and if so, did it fix the problem? Thanks.
