I can’t order now and am looking to buy in Spring. Any sense of what dealers will do with pricing after the orders are all completed?

Hard to tell this early.

1. If the Maverick acceptance rate is like the first year of the new Ranger there will be discounts or special financing to move inventory (The delays could affect this too)
2. It could really take off and dealers with go the mark up route but that will be temporary once something else becomes the new thing in autos.
3. Stay the same price.

Im playing my cards for #1 if I decide on the Maverick over the new Nissan Frontier

Thanks for that. I hope to be dealt #1 as well. I’ll really sour on Ford if the dealers mark it up significantly. I understand the reasons, but they are working overtime—at least some of them—to cater to the needs of their customers. I just hope that carries forward for those of us who have to be late to the game.

There is always opportunity when you aren't first to the party or last to the party. Having time on your side could be plus.
