You've been waiting since December. Many of us that are asking for more communication have been waiting since June, July and August. I finally received my VIN and build date, but the concerns about lack of communication are valid.
You are totally exaggerating! NOBODY HAS BEEN WAITING SINCE JUNE JULY AUGUST! Reservations only started June 8 with the unveiling of the truck. Order banks opened a few weeks later- and it was advertised that "production and delivery were expected to start in the Fall of 2021". It wasn't a secret that nobody at Ford told us about. Production start is always limited and October was the 1st full month. Hybrid didn't even have their MPG numbers and OKTB until late November. Most accurate estimates anybody could get on delivery times after built was 4-8 weeks. Last 2 weeks of December factory was shutdown for Holidays and there were 2 other 1 week shutdowns along the way from lack of parts.

Lots of people got their Mavericks in the fall as advertised. If you are honest about this, only people that didn't get theirs by end of the year have had to wait a little longer- end of March is just the 3rd month past what was advertised. Administrators on this site provided updates as they got them and other sources like Tim have done a great job filling in the missing information as best they can.

Yeah, so me choosing not to order until mid-December is irrelevant and you don't see me complaining about the wait. My MTC join date is exactly 1 year ago (April 1st), but I was following the Maverick happenings for a good 6 months before that and I was lurking here months before I actually joined. It gets really old watching so many impatient people with the same unrealistic expectations post the same stuff again and again acting like they are victims of the evil big corporation abusing them. Time for a bunch of people to grow up and get real about even getting your orders in at all before cutoff. Your truck gets here when it gets here and no amount of soothing emails or complaints to Ford will change that reality.

You should have included a "New and improved" version of email notices as a 3rd poll option:
The biggest problem and complaint is not hearing anything from Ford for MONTHS in between order confirmation and scheduling.

I ordered July 21 and just received my VIN and build date last week. Numerous people on this forum placed their orders in June, July and August and have just recently got scheduled or are still waiting. You mentioned following Tim Bartz YouTube videos. Did you miss the video that he did just last month entitled "June and July orders not getting scheduled"? Maybe he was exaggerating too? June, July, August orders not getting scheduled is FACT, not exaggeration. You are entitled to how you feel, but so are the others here that are expressing their frustration and would like more transparency and communication from Ford. Here's the link for the video... .

@Ford Motor Company - just over 24 hours of polling and the vote is 177-6 (96.7%!!!) in favor of the old (more frequent) production scheduling status email approach.

We all realize this won't get us our trucks any sooner, but from a customer service standpoint, this should be an easy win for Ford. Please consider this request.

Posting this so that @Ford Motor Company can get an aggregated view of the preference of users here on Maverick Truck Club. Please vote - as @fordvideoguy says, "Only way things change is with feedback"...
My Dealership told me long ago, when I get scheduled for a build date, we'd both get an email, just like when my order was confirmed by email. Why change now, everyone will be bugging their Dealer & Ford. Like to be informed on progress!

I am trying to figure out how this new notification is going to play out. I believe @fordvideoguy said MY22 production will go into october. Under the new system you will get notified approximately two weeks before the build date. Ordering for MY23 starts in august. So for two months people will be ordering MY23 trucks while people with MY22 orders still won't know if they will be built or carried over to the next model year.

Clearly the majority prefers more emails, but everyone's entitled to their opinion. :)
I remember not long ago everyone complaining about the useless update email. I think Ford did the right thing, don't feed any info until they are more certain. It won't delay your order any longer and you won't get those delay emails.
