You are totally exaggerating! NOBODY HAS BEEN WAITING SINCE JUNE JULY AUGUST! Reservations only started June 8 with the unveiling of the truck. Order banks opened a few weeks later- and it was advertised that "production and delivery were expected to start in the Fall of 2021". It wasn't a secret that nobody at Ford told us about. Production start is always limited and October was the 1st full month. Hybrid didn't even have their MPG numbers and OKTB until late November. Most accurate estimates anybody could get on delivery times after built was 4-8 weeks. Last 2 weeks of December factory was shutdown for Holidays and there were 2 other 1 week shutdowns along the way from lack of parts. You've been waiting since December. Many of us that are asking for more communication have been waiting since June, July and August. I finally received my VIN and build date, but the concerns about lack of communication are valid.
Lots of people got their Mavericks in the fall as advertised. If you are honest about this, only people that didn't get theirs by end of the year have had to wait a little longer- end of March is just the 3rd month past what was advertised. Administrators on this site provided updates as they got them and other sources like Tim have done a great job filling in the missing information as best they can.
Yeah, so me choosing not to order until mid-December is irrelevant and you don't see me complaining about the wait. My MTC join date is exactly 1 year ago (April 1st), but I was following the Maverick happenings for a good 6 months before that and I was lurking here months before I actually joined. It gets really old watching so many impatient people with the same unrealistic expectations post the same stuff again and again acting like they are victims of the evil big corporation abusing them. Time for a bunch of people to grow up and get real about even getting your orders in at all before cutoff. Your truck gets here when it gets here and no amount of soothing emails or complaints to Ford will change that reality.
