Plastic stickers removed. Did I screw up?

I was looking in the wrong area.
I never noticed them even when I installed the strut.

Thanks for all of the replies. I went out to take a picture of all the locations where they used to be. They are very difficult to make out but I’ll post the one that is easier to see. The other two I removed were on the tailgate covering a hole. They are very difficult to make out where they were so I was able to find a picture online showing the location on the tailgate.

My thoughts are that it might offer some protection from the tie down / bottle opener on both sides. I’m pretty sure I removed 4 or them so I’ll have to check tomorrow before work when the sun is still out to see where they were. For a moment I stressed myself out about it but I’ll monitor it and if it starts to get damage in those areas I might spray that small area with bed liner.

Get some 3M clear protection tape cut to size and install

Don't stress out too much... these things happen. Reminds me of the time my new fridge (with ice maker and chilled water) came and, when unpacking, I noticed about 75ft of extra plastic tubing coiled up behind a panel inside the fridge. It connected to the water connection. I thought, how great of them to provide this much extra piping/tubing to connect to the distant water supply. Was going to pull it out and cut it but, on the back of the fridge, it had such a great connection I thought I'd leave it. Turns out that IS HOW that fridge made cold water (by storing it inside in the tube). Who knew?!

Not to worry, you can fix this as you've said.
