My guess is the techs left that plug on your skid plate before they reinstalled it - and the plug rolled out of a hole when you came to a stop A small round plastic plug will bounce & roll when dropped from 12 inches or so - so it is anyone’s guess as to where exactly it dropped from! Good mystery you have there

Could be true, so buy a lottery ticket. What’s the odds that plug would survive all that road disturbance yet exit the vehicle at the one place you are creeping into your garage. Still, crazier things have happened.
You could show it to those techs and may get an immediate answer.

Not so much as they only confiscated my Midnight Special 900 watt linear. I was pushing a General Lee with it, and 102" whip.

No wonder i could hear you all over cali. I jail broke my president Randy II cranked up my a.m. modulation slapped a 24 inch whip on it and could get a clear 20 miles range though mountains would interfere.
