PCV valve

Can anyone with a 24 EcoBoost take a picture of the location of said valve, when it warms up of course. I can’t seem to locate it with all the other stuff around. Thank-you

Probably going to be hard to get a good pic because I'm pretty sure it's up under the intake manifold. And if I remember correctly it's the PCV baffle/valve all built into one unit.

Your vehicle's service manual is often a good source of information for locating specific engine components. Look in the section that deals with engine components or emissions management.

I assure you, there is nothing in the Owner's Manual about a PCV valve.

If you download the PDF version, its TOC is hyperlinked to the relevant sections in the manual so you can just click where you want to go. More importantly, you can search for terms like "PCV," "crankcase," and so on. The words are not there.

I don't know if melani is a bot, having trouble with English, or just generally uninformed and making wild guesses trying to be helpful - but I suspect that they were referring to the service manual, meaning the repair documents that are not generally available to consumers. As far as I know, most of us around here already realize we can't get complete and reliable access to that.

For what it's worth, a PCV valve is not a regular maintenance item like it might've been 40 years ago, and it is not a thing that someone in a MY22+ Maverick will need to worry about any time soon.
