... that is exactly what I have been saying.Sorry no picture, but I can tell you that many tube videos will say bust the intake loose to get to the lower fittings.
I found that once I removed the factory cold air inlet (a couple of plastic trim fasteners) I could reach down and in from the driver's side and feel both fittings easily. Luckily these are not the anti-tamper type like you will deal with up top, these have the little locking tab that you can easily disengage and then pull each fitting off. They are directly across from each other and are connected to a 6 or so inch length of 1/2 inch plastic hose that loops between them in a horseshoe shape.
I reused these fittings by carefully slitting the plastic hose (careful there is an o-ring seal on the fitting) and then placed my lengths of 5/8 fuel hose. I originally used Gates fuel hose, but in short order began to have a strong fuel / oil odor in the garage after shutdown - the gates hoses were "vapor soaked". I replaced these runs with Parker Super Flex FL-7, epa rated hose, these have a liner that doesn't allow vapors thru, no more stink. I placed a check valve on the intake side hose so my can does not see any boost pressure.
Replace cold air inlet and you're in business, quick n easy.
Hope it helps!
Just subbed to the channel and standing by for that.... no need for any of that!
Just finished recording the video today! I'll have it on YouTube sometime next week!
I was just browsing your youtube channel and you are my new favorite you tuber because of all the awesome recipes but also because of your short about gas prices.... that is exactly what I have been saying.
No need to remove intake and a 100 other plugs videos have shown
Thank you and sorry for the delay I wanted to test everything before publishing anything. The T from the low vacuum side to the high vacuum side did not work as expected. Running two catch cans now and collected a lot of fluids already! I am not sure if it's humidity or what because the crankcase is not missing any oil.I was just browsing your youtube channel and you are my new favorite you tuber because of all the awesome recipes but also because of your short about gas prices.
Looking forward to seeing your maverick videos hope you can post them soon.
