shopped around a lot of SoCal auto body/paint places. Price(s) ? was quoted $525 (went w/that price) to $1k+ !!

expensive ? eh, not really...gotta remember, this is LA, CA, w/$7@gal gas, etc.
Paint matching, pulling off that grille & front bumper (u see that vid ?!!).
This wasn't ur avg, take-the-grille-crosspiece-off-and-paint it type of project...lotta labor.

Luckily I ordered the Carbonized Gray metallic XLT AWD, grill color matches! But your grill looks good!
