Paid for a 528 page owner’s manual

For the folks like me that like to at least "have" a traditional printed owners manual for reference, they can be purchased from several sources online. I will say the free downloadable pdf version that is searchable and one can print desirable pages works great for me and many others.

Don't forget to check the edition.
Ford has made some changes/ revisions to the electronic manual.
I believe my 2023 is on the 2nd edition.

No idea but I can say I purchased one on ebay for my MY24 expedition, it was the same quality and content level as the one that came from the factory on the MY18 I traded in

If I were buying a 2026 Maverick today I would make the dealership provide me with a full printed owners manual as a condition of purchasing the vehicle

And only the sections that applied, leave out the extras your specific truck didn't have.

I declined a free copy offered when I bought the truck., I prefer the PDF, it’s searchable, and Ford can update it as needed..

viewing the manual through the entertainment system is a no go for me though

Ya - thru the system is just ripe for running the battery down.

Because I'm assuming it's not viewable while driving.

Just yesterday I perused the electronic version of the manual for my new 2025 XLT Hybrid AWD for the first time. I'd guess half of it is irrelevant, as it pertains to the non-hybrid 2.0L engine or optional equipment or Trim levels that I don't have.
It would be great if Ford (and other mfgs too) could use AI or whatever to create personalized customer manuals that contain only info relevant to my specific VIN.

The online version used to have a VIN checkbox if you accessed it by entering VIN or model details.
They removed it.

Because it barely worked - sections clearly labeled as 2.0 EB or hybrid would be handled correctly - but options only available on EB trims were not.

They didn't start the whole effort correctly to make it easy to tag things later.
Short sighted.

I can view my owners manual on my phone while I'm driving.

I want my manual to be interactive so I can hit the voice button on my steering wheel and get any questions I have answered like a chatbot but less annoying I would also like the chat to be saved in a PDF format and sent to my phone so I can print it or have the option to copy and paste it here lol
