Looking through the items in the dealer envelope I found the Ford Maverick Supplemental Owners Manual---surprisingly a pretty good little book. I like it and am glad I found it and Thank Ford for it, but wonder why they would put together a printed 170 page supplemental manual to a digital book.....

Not a complaint but just a statement. I have asked my salesman about a dealer discount for the full manual. We'll see how it goes

You should have made the dealership paying for a printed manual as a condition of closing the deal. Anything and everything is negotiable.

Although this is pure conjecture on my part, it might be that many people want to pick up and read something about their vehicle, and rather than letting them find a 570+ page manual, the reduced size of the supplement helps reduce the rate of heart attacks compared to the full size version...

I just use a pdf version via free download, but it looks like fleabay has them for around $60.

The Ford app bot says to call or visit helminc.com at 800-782-4356, and they sell them for $58 for the MY25 printed copy. Compare that with the dealer cost, as that could be where they get them.

Thanks. I have the PDF but sometimes it is nice to read from something ohter than a screen.

There might be some obscure consumer law that requires the manufacturer to include some sort of printed material on how to operate the essential systems of a vehicle.

Considering just how much (the actual number approaches infinity) government agencies love paper EVERYTHING, that is highly likely...

Yeppers.
A ream of 8 1/2" X 11" printer paper is 2" thick.

At 570 pages a home printed manual would be 70 sheets thicker. Unless you printed on both sides. That would cut the size down to 285 pages of 8 1/2" X 11"
Yep, that would make quite the manual for the glove compartment.
