After lurking here for a bit and learning a ton about the Maverick (Thank You!!) -
I decided I am going to order one to replace my 2016 Tundra Crewmax gas guzzler.

Would love comments on options in my build that are a waste or options I should consider adding

I plan to order the following build:
Oxford White
XLT Lux package
FX4 (AWD, 2.0 EB Powered)
CoPilot360
4K Tow
Floor Liners
Power Moon Roof
Vehicle Security Alarm

Appreciate your wisdom in advance! Thanks!

That’s pretty much what I got.
I love my Maverick. No regrets on anything.
You will not be disappointed.

Other than the Ecoboost/AWD only options, almost looks like my twin!! I didn't get the floor liners (I'll get aftermarket there) or the security alarm, otherwise all the same! Hope you love it and have no regrets! I took my sweet time placing an order. They day the hybrid mpg was confirmed I got my order buttoned up and submitted. Can't wait to get it. The Ecoboost likely would have sufficed and got me an earlier build but I'm content waiting for my hybrid.

Otherwise, Ox White, Lux, Co-pilot, Moon roof, I got all that too. I think it'll be a sweet ride for sure!

Pretty much same build as mine. I decided not to get the 4k tow package though, and I am just sticking with the standard vehicle alarm. I also decided to not get the moonroof as I cant justify using it as much as some people and its one less possible failure point.

I ordered a hybrid XLT with the lux package and co-pilot 360 in Velocity Blue. It will be here sometime in 2022, which gives me something to look forward to. However, if I don't get an email from Ford today that says "In Production", I'm going to drop the lux package, as I've seen where a dealer had so many XLT lux packages that customers ordered, and none were selected for production, but had other trim levels and packages that were picked up.

From what I've read and seen, you should not add any add ons that you can buy after market or directly from the Ford parts department.

I feel Co-Pilot 360 is a necessity. We have a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe with blind spot detection, and I can't imagine any vehicle from this point forward w/o it.

A sunroof is a personal choice, but I never had a vehicle with it. All of the other options are all a personal choice based on your needs as well. If you have a need for them, buy them. For me, I don't drive off road, don't tow anything heavier than 1K, and don't need AWD.

I'd say buy what you need and what your budget allows, but consider buying any odd ons that can be done later elsewhere to avoid any production delays.

Thank you for you input. I am excited to place my order - despite the likelihood
I will not see it for 3+ months. I am in the SF bayarea and am yet to see a Maverick on the road. Actually saw / touched / sat in my first Maverick last weekend at a dealer outside my area and was impressed.

Nice looking truck! I like the Alto Blue...this color looks 'deep' with the lighting
in your picture.

That is nearly identical to our build - replacing our guzzling V8 F150 2004

Yea...my Tundra is a beast and fun to drive - but at ~10 MPG on a light footed day, I
cannot afford to commute in it. Parking spots are also shrinking where I am - so a
smaller, more agile pick up is called for. The Maverick fills this need very well! Thanks for your input!

No, I ordered what I wanted. Everything I didn't order can be had on the aftermarket.

XLT 2.0L AWD 4k fx4 moonroof sliding rear window and inverter. I skipped lux pack because most of the features I either didn't want, didn't need or wouldn't use. Why pay for it?

Looks like a nice build. As I got older I figured out cutting corners on options didn't work for me. If you keep a vehicle 5+ years a $1200.00 option is $120.00 a year and you will enjoy it more. IMO of course:)

Ordered the same in Pepper Red minus floor liners and security alarm - was counseled to not add any accessories as they upped the risk that a constraint would mean no schedule for production. Will pick up the ford maverick liners separately, hood deflector once confirmed no hoodshake and add a Tonneau of our choosing once it gets home. Has drop in bedliner as all they offer likely we pull it and put in a spray in - since I’m getting it and paid for it want to see it in person before deciding.

I ordered almost the same but no co-pilot, no Fx4 and got the shadow black. I almost think I should have added the co-pilot but my wife’s Escape sometimes scare the crap the out of me if I’m not expecting the alarms going off.
