Ordered my Maverick XLT yesterday. They had one shipped and they expected it in about 3 weeks. It came in a half hour after I left. Picked it up today.

Only thing that has me scratching my head is why this button does nothing. On my Bronco Sport it allowed me to give voice commands and choose music.

I'll have to play with it again tomorrow.

You fell into this by "ordering" a configuration that was already being delivered. Either someone declined their order, or the dealer scammed someone and sold it to you. The order banks for 2023 closed in September 2022. Be happy with your purchase, but someone else in NY may be greatly disappointed they didn't get their truck.

Which package are those wheels a part of?

They are my winter 18 inch wheels/tires from my Bronco Sport with a little wider Falken A/T tires. The Maverick's 18 wheels and tires will sit in the garage until Spring and then I will decide if I want to use them.

That's exactly how I got mine. Dealer stock order, was basically the same as my '24 order, it had the optional XLT wheels which I didn't order and some things like the integrated door keypad which isn't available. I jumped on it.

Still getting use to not having all the bells and whistles my Bronco Sport did but I'll get use to it. It does tow more which is why I switched.
I am really disappointed the XLT doesn't have sync3. The Sport was so easy and didn't require a phone for voice commands. For the money I paid for it with all the options it should have it.

I couldn't agree with you more, why Ford didn't at least offer Sync3 with the XLT Lux package is beyond me, also push button start. With '24 you have to get a fully loaded Lariat to get even some of the simplest things other manufacturers put in their cheapest vehicles.

Part of the joy of owning a Maverick is having to read the Encyclopedia Britannica of owner's manuals just to figure out what you do and do not have!!

I found the problem. The XLT doesn't have sync3. That really sucks after paying for every package on it.

Looks like a lot of miles on it for brand new. Unless you already drove it 100 miles. Those rims look good on it. Have fun.

Without Sync/3 you should still be able to use that voice assistant- I am having an issue with Sync 3 and a Samsung Flip phone that keeps telling me its not enabled in device settings- Pixel worked fine- Ugh
