Hello everyone!
My 1st post...
I just registered and have been accepted to be a part of this great community. I have been doing lots of research, and I have to say the information in this forum is priceless. That being said, I'd like to share my buying experience and some images with everyone here.

2025 Ford Maverick XL
Base Price w/opitons $29,305 -$500 (FBA discount) = $28,885
Options I chose: Ford Copilot 360 1.0, Keyless entry pad, tow hitch, tailgate lock
(first aid kit and wheel lock kit magically appeared on my invoice for $60 and $85, respectively, dealer said all Mavericks come with it)
Out-the-door price was $31,113 with everything included, including taxes and fees. EVERYTHING!

***What has everyone else been paying?***
I tried getting the price decreased further, but it was hard to negotiate a lower price. They told me multiple times that there was very little room for discounts, and any price much lower would mean they'd be selling it for less than what they paid for it. I get it, but it doesn't hurt to ask multiple times :)

Bonus:
I think it's insane a 12.8 mile trip can have 7.8 miles driven electric.
47.5 MPG.....mind officially blown!!!

100% NOT going to miss the gas pumps. My previous daily driver was a 2006 Toyota Tundra SR5, which only gets 11 miles per gallon. Still have it and will use it from time to time. Best truck ever! (minus the MPGs)

Friends family have 3 of those 20003-2006 Tundra's, all with a high tech expanding camper shell- They take them all over the Western US- Even in winter-

Have to agree w/ ya. I had a '07 Tundra SR5 that I loved and then moved to a GMC 2500HD w/ a 6.0L Vortec (Voratious hog). We got the Escape hybrid and started loving driving past gas stations so when it came time to get a newer truck the Mav hybrid was top of the list.

I call BS on your dealer saying that all Mavericks come with it. Maybe every order your dealer places with Ford they add those two things onto the order as extra cost, but I've never heard of anything optional on the options order items being forced on purchasers by Ford itself (except for the front license plate bracket in states that require a front license plate, but that's a no-cost add-on, so not any change in purchase price). Were those two items on your original purchase agreement that you signed when you ordered the truck? If not, then you should have rejected paying for them. I've done that before when purchasing non-Ford vehicles where the dealer preps the vehicle with nitrogen in the tires, VIN etching, etc. If it's not on the order I placed, I'm not going to pay for it, and so far, they've ended up not charging me for those types of items when I've threatened to walk over the no-approved extra options they added without my prior approval.

I know there is a big difference in mpg. Just don't disregard the ride, handling, easy ingress and egress. Don't forget how easy it is to reach o er the side of the bed to load or unload on the Maverick. I really like fitting into parking spaces as well, a noticeable difference for me anyway.

Wonder if this was on the window sticker… if they try adding options like that I have my window sticker and build sheet so they can’t say I ordered extras like that.

What is the breakdown of taxes vs "fees"? That's the real question.

Also, it is 100% BS that every Maverick comes with wheel locks and the first aid kit.

Hi Everyone, thought I would post my experience. First, here is my timeline, and the dealer has not contacted me yet, but they are doing some accessories (spray in bedliner, Aeroskin smoke hood deflector, mud flaps, and Lund window deflectors.)

The 2025 Maverick is an AWD Lariat with the 2.5 hybrid engine, and the only optional expense was for the 4K towing package, along with the accessories. Here is my breakdown:

MSRP: $39,075
Laura Discount: $2,500
--------------------------
$36,575
Accessories: $1,057
--------------------------
$37,632
Administrative Fee: $587
Temp Tag: $5
Lien Fee: $6
-------------------------
$38,230
Deposit: $500

$37,730

I traded in a 2023 Maverick Lariat with 19K miles on it and they gave me $29.5K, so to make the change from the 23 to the 25 cost me $8730.00. But my PP taxes on the 23 was $900 and they let me trade it in on Dec 31st so I wouldn't have to pay PP on both trucks. Hopefully I'll be happy with the extra miles/gallon as I was only getting about 18mpg with the 23 (I carry alot of tools and for some reason my foot is very heavy). Well, that's about it!

2500 discount on on top of almost 30k for your trade-in ?

That is one heck of a dealer. Trade in is ~3k over kbb.

What is a “Laura Discount”? Also, what was the OTD price? Didn’t see taxes and tag?
