Ordered 2nd Maverick....sorta 3rd

I normally have two autos, about a yr and half ago I got 23 lariet hybrid since was on lot...but not exactly what I wanted.....so at same time I ordered a 24 xlt awd as wanted turbo, awd and 4k tow, and love it. Traded 23 when custom order came in.

But honestly I loved the fwd lariet other then not awd and less towing.....

So switching my 2nd auto to a 2nd Maverick . Ordered a 2025 XLT hybrid FWD with just 360 package in the eruption green. While I would like luxury package or lariet trim just didn't seem cost effective compared to additional cost.

So hopefully will have best of both worlds my 24 for winter, hauling as has bedliner, and towing.....and the new 25 for fuel milage.

Would add a couple observations of the two mavericks I've had so far.

I have a vacation house about 280 mi away from my primary house, split time in both most weeks so the 280 mile drive is quite frequent.

The 23 Lariet hybrid rather consistently maintained around 34.5 mpg combined average.

My 24 xlt turbo awd is averaging about 26-27 combined, not bad for awd truck but 8 worse then hybrid. I have gotten it up to 28 if weather good and use eco mode......but i prefer sport with the turbo......

Another thing I'd note is the factory stereo in the 24 doesn't really seem much a downgrade from the B&O, so wouldn't recommend leaning lariet for the sound system.

The adaptive cruise only real thing I would liked liked to have from new lariet trim......but at 5k some difference compared to xlt with 360 package, just didn't seem worth the additional cost to me.

I was kinda surprised 23 lariet didn't have it as was top trim.....and adaptive cruise was pretty common in other autos by 23 model years

Out 3 mavericks my first significant complaint and a minor one with 2025.

First the major which is partly my fault I didn't want to spend much on bells and whistles so didn't opt for xlt luxury package......and non powered seats just seemed low to me.....end up buying $30 2inch cushion which seems bout right. Guess cheaper then package.

2nd the minor......the upgraded touchscreen with XM and wireless connection is sweet upgrade, should been a home run. But does anyone else think the 25's speakers don't sound quite as good as previous years?

I think the stock speakers in my 2023 Tremor rivaled the worst speakers I’ve ever heard even my 92 Toyota Corolla had better speakers.
