I believe the term of Production can mean gathering up and staging the needed parts per your specific VIN order for the different build modules. This all results in the final assembly which you will be notified of as "Built".

I received the vin number in about a week. My build date is the first week of December. Anyone have any idea then on an approximate delivery date to dealership? I know they're made in Mexico, I live in Maine. Thanks

From what I've been seeing on the forums, production hiccups seem pretty common right now - could be anything from parts shortages to quality checks holding things up. The aluminum hood theory is interesting, but honestly it could be a dozen different components causing the holdup. On the bright side, 'almost built' sounds like you're close, so hopefully it's just a week or two setback rather than months. Hang in there, once it hits the convoy tracker you'll at least have a better idea of when it'll roll into your Maine dealer!

Seen a video of dealer getting 26's delivered with remaining 25s this week, so seems about a month from build date in that case.

The dealer noted special items might not be till first of next year.

When I ordered my 23 Eco Lariat it took 6 months for Ford to Confirm the order was accepted, in production for 3 weeks and finally received 10 days short of a full year from the day I ordered it.
This time I ordered a 26 Tremor on November 11th, got my confirmation E-mail 40 hours later. My VIN and windowsticker by the 17th. Shows in production as of Dec. 9.
Not sure how you folks feel but right now my head is spinning from how much faster this time around is going.
BTW I've been viewing this forum as a read-only til now and decided to post only because this truck is making progress and me very happy.

My delivery date was 12/28 - 1/03/26 then 12/24-12/30 then back again to 12/28-1/03. I'm not sure how long the dealership takes to prep it for me. That's about 3 months and a week from my order date. You're tracking 2 months. Ya, that's pretty quick and certainly beats 1 year. Merry Christmas!

The dealership put the order in Priority 10 after i pushed the salesman a bit.
Plus they told me the Lariat and Tremor were likely early in the build because of parts availability. They haven't set a delivery date yet so I hope the early lead doesn't peter out.
