How long are people waiting? I ordered mine October 21st. I was told 2-3 months but with constant part shortages and demand it seems more like 5-6 months.
What did you order?

I heard on the news last night there having serious aluminum shortages going to effect auto Manufaction and the chip shortage on top of that could be 6/8 months.

I heard about the chip shortage. That seems to be common among all car companies but aluminum is a new one. I’m not surprised though. Next years theme should be “HURRY UP AND WAIT”

Ordered mine beginning August and I text my dealer yesterday, asked if there was any news and she said no. I know the dealership has received 2 mavericks but I believe they are both XL and are other customer orders. I ordered a Cactus Grey XLT Ecoboost, LUX package, spray in liner, and tonneau cover. I am assuming I won't see my truck until at least February.

My dealer said HURRY UP AND WAIT to me yesterday and couldn't figure out what she was referencing to!

Hopefully bud, you get yours before February. I was hopeful to have mine in 3 months but unfortunately I do think 5-6 months is more realistic. Good Luck.

Everyone seems to be pretty excited about the Maverick and is rushing to purchase. I even ordered winter tires already. I’m guessing when my Maverick gets here I won’t need them lol.

Due to the magnesium shortage? Yes, China has shut many of its mag plants for the year. There’s lots of articles out there about it. It would basically shutdown most of the global auto industry.

Interesting. I am curious how many people will start canceling orders if they are forced to buy another car if their current car dies?
