If I originally ordered my 2.0L XLT in mid December, when should I expect the build to start? Obviously I know I still have months to wait, just want to get a timeline! I’m in Nova Scotia, canada

I ordered my 2L AWD XL on 12/28 and have a VIN. No build date yet. My guess is spring/summer build.

Well let me try and answer without sounding like a douche - lol . Next week they are scheduling builds for April. Then transport of a month or more so....... if you were scheduled next Thursday you would be looking at May. Eco orders have been faster so Id say July or August if you were being hopeful. If you are not hopeful and there are more delays you would be rolled over to a 23 model.

My order was placed on December 13th and I haven’t got a VIN yet, well my salesman hasn’t told me yet anyways. Are you in Canada?

No, Tennessee. I called the 1-800 number this morning as my salesman has been unable to give me any specific info. Shoot, I have never received an email from Ford!

Oh that’s a good idea! Did you just tell them when it was placed and from where? And they gave you the VIN number? Thanks for your help!

When I ordered the truck, my dealer emailed me a file with an order number and sales code and I gave it to them. That info was needed along with the VIN on Ford's site to get more info.

I ordered in August 2021, didn't get a build date until late December for January, they finished building it on January 20th. It was just shipped last week and they estimated date of delivery is Feb 21-27. So i would count on at least 6 months. I ordered XLT Ecoboost Lux package, tonneau cover
