Order missing lux package

What would you do in this situation.
I just learned my order dated 07/03 is in production and have a window sticker. This order included the drop in bed liner which was delaying order.
Dealer was supposed to have cancelled this for my new order with lux package with spray in. Now I have a production date for the drop in minus lux package. What would you do, take what you can get or wait for what you really wanted but was ordered 2 wks later?

Well, if you're scheduled for production then you will be unable to change your order. You would have to create a new order and wait for it to be scheduled.

I would order and wait for what you want. But, that's just me....

Decisions, decisions, how badly do I really want the lux package over a drop in. What say you?

My opinion is that for $25k+/-, you should get what you want.

The drop in in the back will be used whenever you MIGHT haul something. The Lux package will be used EVERY time your butt is in the seat.

Well, personally I ordered an XL. Lux packages did not appeal to me besides the spray-in. Get what YOU want.

Thank you for all the interesting insight into my issue. You guys are spot on, lux package will be used more often and since this is probably my last new vehicle purchase I might as well get everything I want and not settle for less. I'll just have to wait a little bit longer.

AND you can always get an aftermarket spray liner.

Good point but really liked the Ford logo on the factory one, but for that they jack up the price. Aftermarket spray in looks great though and much more affordable guess it just comes down to personal preference in the end

Get them both. When the second one shows up, make your choice, sell the other at a profit.
Considering the market, I’ll bet that most of us wish we had had the foresight to order 2 Mavs back when.
